Tinea Versicolor

Common skin fungal infections characterized  by small discolored  tan, brown, or pink, or white scaling patches that often takes place in warm, humid weather, tends to be non painful or contagious .  Symptoms include but not limited to discolored skin patching, itching, scaling.  Diagnosis is made by physical exam, Potassium hydroxide wet mount, Wood light examination.  Treatment is Topical antifungals.
